 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Richmond Speed Skating Oval
This 33,000m² facility, will be home to the long track speed skating competitions and is one of first premier venues of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games to open. The design and construction of this facility requires a comprehensive vision – to present a compelling structure to be showcased during the Olympics and to create a functional post-games facility which will continue to draw major sporting events in the future. |
 Electric Plug-in car
BTY Group recently provided construction cost advice to the City of Vancouver as part of a by-law initiative for electric vehicle charging stations.
Under the plan, developers must now include plug-ins for electric cars in at least 20% of parking stalls in new condominium and apartment buildings, along with some city-owned parking lots.
BTY’s assistance was instrumental in helping the City of Vancouver pass this bylaw which in turn has positioned Vancouver as the global leader in providing electrical vehicle infrastructure.

New Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto
Bridgepoint Health and Plenary Health Bridgepoint LP have reached financial close to design, build and finance the replacement of Bridgepoint Hospital including the restoration of the historical Don Jail. The new facility will provide 472 beds and treat patients with complex, chronic diseases. BTY Group is undertaking the role of Lender’s Technical Advisor for the project. |
