Michael is a Director at BTY and leads the firm’s Project Delivery Services for Infrastructure assets. He has 30 years of industry experience and joined the firm 2019.
Michael is a senior leader in the construction industry with more than 30 years of experience managing and advising on complex construction projects across Canada, the US and globally. His expertise includes program planning and implementation, independent oversight and risk management, budget and schedule management, stakeholder engagement, feasibility reviews, business case development, procurement and contract administration.
Prior to joining BTY, Kennedy was a Partner and the National Infrastructure Advisory Leader at Ernst & Young. He was responsible for overseeing infrastructure mandates in sectors such as power and utilities, heath care, higher education, transportation, transit and airports. His notable past projects include Muskrat Falls Hydroelectric Plant, Site C Clean Energy Project, Vancouver’s New St. Paul’s Hospital and BC Cancer Research Centre.
Michael is a Project Management Professional, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building and a Chartered Construction Manager, and has served as an Executive Board Member with various community organizations including Providence Health Care, the University of Victoria, the BC Cancer Foundation, and the Business Council of BC.
