City of Long Beach and Plenary Properties Long Beach officially opened the new Long Beach Civic Center on July 29.
The unique project is designed to revitalize the City’s downtown through modern, energy efficient new facilities serving residents and visitors.
The Project is being delivered through a Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain PPP model. BTY provided Lenders’ Technical Due Diligence services on the Project, which included Construction Loan Monitoring and Design-Build Payment Certification services.
The new City Hall and Port Administration buildings, which are located on the site of the former Long Beach Courthouse, feature solar power and rainwater capture and reuse systems, and both are designed to meet seismic safety and LEED Gold rating requirements.
