Statement of Commitment

BTY Group is committed to ensuring equal access for people with disabilities and treating people with disabilities with respect and following the principles of dignity, independence, integration and equal opportunity.

BTY Group is committed to being a barrier-free environment for persons with disabilities in communications, information, employment, the delivery of services and in our office spaces. We will do so by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and meeting the requirements of the (AODA).

BTY Group’s Policy

In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, BTY Group will continue to develop and maintain policies, practices, procedures and documentation, when necessary, with respect to the following:

• Training of employees and other individuals who provide services.
• Accommodation of applicants throughout the recruitment process.
• Accommodation of employees throughout their employment.
• Maintenance of an accessible environment for persons with disabilities.
• Provision of accessible information and communication support.
• Use of service animals and support persons.
• Notice of service disruptions.
• Maintenance of web content.
• Provision of information about emergency procedures, plans and public safety.
• Receipt of feedback regarding the provision of services or facilities to persons with disabilities.

Feedback Process

BTY Group is committed to meeting accessibility requirements and continuously taking steps to improve its services and website to comply with the AODA and its regulations. BTY Group welcomes feedback regarding the manner in which it provides goods, services or facilities to persons with disabilities.

Feedback can be provided to Human Resources and the Operations Director.

Human Resources and the Operations Director will review and assess every complaint received. Where possible, Human Resources and the Operations Director will ensure the issues are addressed. If a complaint cannot be addressed, Human Resources and/or the Operations Director will advise the complainant.
