The 4th Intake Project involves the expansion of the Enwave Energy Corporation’s Deep Lake Water Cooling (“DLWC”) system with the support of up to $10 million in federal funding. A sustainable energy project, DLWC draws cold water from Lake Ontario to cool hospitals, educational campuses, government buildings, commercial and residential buildings in Toronto’s downtown core. The project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce strain on the electricity and water systems, help support and attract new development, and make the city more resilient.

The DBFOM P3 project comprises consolidation of the 23 existing car rental properties into one 7.6 million sf facility featuring a Customer Services Building, Ready/Return Facilities, Idle Storage Facilities, Quick Turnaround Area Facilities, Parking Area, offices for the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), a courtyard and the Automated People Mover ConRAC Station.

This is a new build project and the beginning of a new campus for York University in Markham. It includes full Early Works infrastructure, landscape, and road access, as well as construction of a campus building. The campus will be built on a five-acre site contributed by the City of Markham and eventually serve more than 4,400 students. The project is being built to achieve the LEED Gold certification. The project will focus on supporting digital technology education and jobs training programs and will include York-IBM Innovation space programming. It will require all new information and technology infrastructure, and digital and automation supported building systems.

The project involves the upgrade and modernization of the university’s central heating and cooling plant and ancillary infrastructure, as well as the implementation of various energy efficiency upgrades across the campus.

The PPP project is being procured by the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) to deliver 1,500 additional social housing units, through an availability-based model. Bundle 2 comprises 456 social housing units that will be developed across 8 sites.

The DBFM P3 project comprises the construction of a 19km Light Rail Transit line running along Eglinton Avenue from Mt. Dennis (Weston Road) to Kennedy TTC station in Toronto. The Eglinton Crosstown project is the City of Toronto’s largest public transportation expansion in history. A 10km underground portion between Keele Street and Laird Drive is also included in the scope of work. The Project aims to improve transit capacity and relieve passenger congestion during peak hours.

This project includes the construction of Terminal 6 and Terminal 7 for JetBlue Airlines at JFK International Airport. It comprises the addition of larger international use gates, checking and security areas, new curb frontage, enhancements to existing AirTrain stations, and the development of terminal amenities.

The LaGuardia Airport DBFOM P3 project comprises a new 1.3 million sf Central Terminal B Building with 35 service gates and several associated site works.

The project involves the construction of two, 45-storey towers and one four-storey low-rise building in Seattle. The buildings will be constructed atop a 6-level underground parkade, and three-level commercial podium. The development will be mainly residential rental apartments and will also include retail and office space.

The Kocaeli Integrated Health Campus will be built on a 226,626 sm site in the Kocaeli Province, located in the Marmara region of northwest Turkey. The campus will include six hospitals with a capacity of 1,180 beds.

The project will merge seven existing care locations currently spread across the city into a single, state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility on CHEO’s main campus at Smyth Road. It will include multi-use clinic space, a physiotherapy rehab gym, expanded mental health clinics, indoor and outdoor education and therapy space, secure space for children who have been abused, treatment rooms for kids with behavioural issues, advanced technology to enable virtual care, and family support spaces. The building will also include a physical link to the main building on campus.

This project will be divided into two phases, the first of which includes projects for repair and modernization. This involves updating or replacing the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, renovation of 30,000 sf of retail space, as well as the redevelopment of the North and South Office Towers, which are each 110,000 sf.

The second phase of the project will include renovation of the existing valet parking garage into a new North Concourse, developing a new West Underground Concourse where there is an existing underground garage, and developing a redesign and reconstruction plan for the Station Plaza into a public space.
