BTY has been engaged to provide Operations and Maintenance Technical Advisory Services for the Tekirdag PPP City Hospital project in Turkey.
This 480-bed project has a total gross area of 157,446 m2, including a car parking area of 50,000 m2. It will include a general hospital and associated support facilities. The Concession Term for the Project is 27 years, with a Construction Programme of two years from Site Delivery. With a 25-year operational term, the Operator will be delivering a number of services including volume, non-volume, medical support and estate management services. Within the current healthcare PPP scheme in Turkey, all medical staff and services are provided by the Ministry of Health.
The healthcare pipeline in Turkey is successfully maturing with three similar healthcare projects having successfully reached their operating phase. As the market moves toward more completed projects, we observe that the Lenders’ risk focus moves into the Investment Term, where BTY services add value to our clients.
