Let's Talk

We are delighted to share that BTY has been awarded project management roles on York University’s new Markham Centre Campus in Ontario and The Douglas College Anvil Centre in British Columbia.

Located in the City of Markham, the new campus at York University will meet the Region’s growing education, research, and innovation needs. Scheduled to open in 2021, the campus will be built on a five-acre site contributed by the City and will have capacity for more than 4,400 students. The project has already received a $127 million commitment by the Goverment of Ontario, as well as $25 million contribution from the York Region.

BTY’s role includes providing a project management overview as it relates to schedule, cost and risk management throughout the duration of the project.

For Douglas College, due to the institution’s continued strong growth, 55,960 sf of space has been leased within the Anvil Centre. Located in the City of New Westminster, this 9-storey office tower will have three and a half floors occupied by students. The space will be used to develop 16 classrooms, a high-technology simulation lab, 48 faculty desks, study space for 109 students, 6  collaborative meeting rooms and a student lounge. Construction is due to commence in January 2018 with completion scheduled for July 2018.

BTY will provide full Project Management services throughout the entire project lifecycle.
