BTY has been selected to provide full Project Management Services for the Terraces of Baycrest Retirement Residence Redevelopment Project.
Part of Baycrest Health Sciences, the Terraces combine the privacy of independent living, in conjunction with 24-hour onsite supportive services necessary to many of its senior residents.
As part of the 200,000 square-foot renovation, the project will include upgrades to common spaces on resident floors, the addition of a memory care floor with outdoor roof top terrace, two assisted living floors, the full renovation of a dairy and meat kosher kitchen and a full upgrade of the entire Wagman Community Centre. All major infrastructure within the complex will also be updated during this time.
The construction of this project will be phased to minimize the impact on the residents that will continue to live in the complex. Construction is scheduled to start in Summer 2017 and will continue in phases until Summer 2019
