Let's Talk

BTY was selected Technical Advisor of the Year at the P3 Awards 2019 held in New York City on October 3.

The annual event recognizes the best in the P3 industry, with award categories comprising the full range of public and private players leading showcase projects across the Americas. BTY received the Silver Award for Technical Advisor of the Year in 2017.

The awards are decided by a panel of Head Judges who evaluate companies on examples of innovation, impact and contribution to the P3 industry.

The panel noted BTY’s innovation in “the development of reliable risk measurement methods, giving sufficient confidence to its clients to achieve, for example, the integration of two P3 projects that would be separated, something of extreme complexity in the market.”

One judge acknowledged BTY as “far and away the leader in the category” with tremendous cross-border market share.

BTY is currently engaged on over 45 projects across North America. One of them – the $5.7-Bn Gordie Howe Bridge between Windsor, ON, and Detroit, MI – involves both countries. The longest cable stayed bridge in the world, the project won Gold at the P3 Awards in the Best Road/Bridge/Tunnel category.

The panel also acknowledged BTY for the work and concern to increase the role of women in the organization, especially in leadership positions, which they called “a remarkable achievement that should be replicated on a large scale internationally.”

The latest award reaffirms BTY’s # 1 ranking as Lenders’ Technical Advisor for deal flow in North America as well as globally over the past two years.
