The Credit Valley Hospital Site Priority Areas Redevelopment Project, which BTY is providing Lenders’ Technical Advisor services for, reached Financial Close this week.
The build-finance project includes renovations to, and expansion of some 187,000 square feet of existing hospital space in the emergency, surgical and diagnostic imaging departments as well as expanded facilities in critical care and a six-bay ambulance garage. Substantial completion is expected in 2018.
The P3 project deal involves Infrastructure Ontario and the Trillium Health Partners. Project Co is Walsh Infrastructure Credit Valley, Ltd., with Walsh Canada acting as the construction contractor. Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. (SMBC) is providing all senior bank debt for the project.
