Toby is the Managing Director of BTY Global and a founding member of its leadership team. He joined BTY in 1995.
Over three decades, he has led BTY’s evolution from a regional quantity surveying practice into a multidisciplinary consultancy with a $100B+ project portfolio spanning North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
His leadership draws on strategic growth, operational excellence, and a passion for building high-performance teams. Toby provides direction on global business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and ownership expansion—anchoring BTY’s long-term vision for value creation and succession planning.
Central to BTY’s international growth, Toby led expansion into the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Türkiye, while advancing the firm’s capabilities in energy and renewables, ESG, Indigenous partnerships, and sports and entertainment.
A Chartered Quantity Surveyor and member of the RICS and the CIQS, Toby brings deep expertise in cost management, transaction advisory, and technical advisory. Beyond business, he is committed to mentorship and creating opportunities for emerging professionals, actively supporting youth, education, arts, and sport through organizations in Canada and the UK.
