Toby is BTY's Managing Director. He has 25 years of industry experience. He joined BTY in 1995.
Toby has more than 28 years of experience in building BTY’s successful business practices on four continents. He has been a driving force behind BTY’s expansion over the past three decades as the firm has grown into new markets and developed new services with a project portfolio valued at more than $100 billion. In addition to leading the firm’s global corporate development, Toby provides strategic direction to the firm’s regional practices. He has been instrumental in developing the firm’s programs for talent recruitment, retention and leadership development, which have enabled BTY to be certified as a Great Place to Work for two years running.
As a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS), Toby’s areas of professional expertise include Technical Advisory and Transaction Advisory services and Cost Management. He has extensive experience advising on major health care, education, real estate, hospitality, and airport and transportation projects worldwide.
