BTY attended the public unveiling of the concept design for the new Vancouver Art Gallery building on September 29, 2015. The event marked an important milestone for a project that has been more than six years in the making.
It is designed by Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron and local partners Perkins+Will, with BTY providing Cost and Risk Advisory services on the project.
The concept design features 85,000 square feet of exhibition space contained in a stacked-block structure that makes extensive use of wood.
