	2010 WOOD WORKS! AWARDS for the best of the best in wood design and construction. The BC Ferries Departure bay Passenger Facility in Nanaimo, BC won the Commercial Wood Design category at the 2010 Wood Works! Awards in March. The project was designed by Clive Grout Architects in Vancouver, BC. BTY Group provided cost management services and procurement advice throughout the project’s design and construction phases.

	Kingsway Pedestrian Bridge in Burnaby, BC Fast + Epp Structural Engineers received the Engineer Award for the Kingsway Pedestrian Bridge in Burnaby, BC. BTY Group provided cost management services throughout the project’s design phase. The project’s structural engineering design is one of the first in North America to utilize Cross Laminated Timbers, a technology used in Europe for some time.

	Whistler Public Library The Architect Award was won by Hughes Condon Marler Architects for the design of the Whistler Public Library in Whistler, BC. BTY Group provided cost management services throughout the project’s design phase.
