The 118,403 sf project is designed to house research and teaching labs, a strength and conditioning centre, a state-of-the-art sport medicine clinic and a 2000-seat basketball and volleyball court in the field house and will host futsal and other court related sports as part of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games.
