Kieran Halton

Kieran is an Associate Director at BTY with 32 years of international industry experience. He joined BTY in 2022.
Kieran’s primary focus will be leading our Independent Tester (IT) and Assigned Certifier (AC) services for residential and commercial projects throughout Ireland. The AC – a role exclusive to the Irish construction industry – forms a necessary part of a project team. The AC ensures that the design team, contractor, and client work in concert to achieve compliance with building regulations and certification of works.
Kieran brings a wide range of experience and expertise to the position, having worked as a Project Manager, Resident Engineer, and Registered Building Surveyor on projects in the residential, commercial, education, transportation and airport sectors across Ireland and the Middle East.
Kieran is a Registered Building Surveyor and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building(CIOB). He has represented Ireland at three world kayaking championship competitions, winning both gold and silver medals.
