Rob is the Managing Director and COO of BTY. He joined the firm in 2013.
Rob leads BTY’s operational performance and executes the firm’s Strategic Growth Plan. A Director and Board Member, he plays a central role in scaling BTY’s platform as a multi-region, multi-service consultancy serving real estate, infrastructure, and energy clients. With nearly 20 years of international experience, Rob brings a hands-on, execution-focused leadership style that strengthens how the firm delivers value across markets.
Since joining BTY in 2013, Rob has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s geographic footprint and operational capabilities across North America and Europe. He oversees firmwide operations, aligning people, processes, and resources to support growth, market expansion, and service delivery.
A strong advocate for leadership development, Rob spearheads initiatives such as BTY’s Leadership Collective, focused on cultivating the next generation of leaders within the firm. He is also an active contributor to industry dialogue, regularly speaking at financial institutions and real estate forums, and contributing to research and thought leadership initiatives.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Rob is committed to supporting industry and community organizations. He has served on a number of boards and committees, including the Tsawwassen First Nation, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS), Urbanarium, North Vancouver FC, and Arts Umbrella.
